I wanted to play Bolero of Fire by Zelda Reorchestrated upon login, but I wanted it to work in both GNOME and Openbox (I have a really minimal openbox set up for if I need all the power I can get while still having graphics), and found this elegant solution, requires mplayer:
mplayer /path/to/startup/music.ogg

If you’re using Opera on Arch x86_64 you’ve probably got the flashplayer-opera64 package from the AUR installed. That package is for Flash 9, and I prefer Flash 10, so I set about editing the PKGBUILD, copying from the flashplugin-beta PKGBUILD. Here is what you do.
